Katherine Obenschain Reimold is a psychotherapist and licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW/LCSW) in Washington and Pennsylvania. She currently lives in Seattle, Washington and provides virtual telehealth therapy appointments.

Katherine obtained her Bachelors of Social Work at Messiah University and her Masters of Social Work from School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania. She has over a decade of experience working with adults and adolescents. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based techniques tailored to meet the client’s individual needs and help them reach their goals.

Her areas of expertise include: relationship issues, managing symptoms of depression and anxiety, significant life transitions, and trauma-related issues. Katherine takes a holistic and trauma-informed approach that is both client-focused and solution-oriented, and enjoys when clients are interested in exploring how their faith affects their physical and mental health.

Prior to working as a therapist, Katherine worked as a domestic violence counselor and an advocate with survivors of intimate partner violence. She has worked with immigrants and refugees transitioning to life in the United States. She served as the pro bono coordinator at the law firm Duane Morris where she connected low-income individuals with free legal assistance. These experiences have helped Katherine see the person within the context of their environment and how a person’s mental health is affected by many things, internal and external.
